Printing Tips
1. Dry before use for higher printing quality.
- In a blast drying oven: 80°C for 8 hours.
- On an X1 printer's heatbed: 90°C to 100°C for 12 hours.
2. Carbon fiber makes ASA-CF more brittle compared to normal ASA. Please avoid excessive bending to prevent filament breakage.
3. Tips to increase dimensional stability:
- Use printers with an enclosure and apply glue on the build plate before printing.
- Set lower printing speed and higher heatbed temperature. For more details, please refer to: Common print quality problems and solutions on WIKI.
4. High heatbed temperatures and glue stick can cause strong adhesion between the print and the build plate. Please allow the print to cool down to room temperature naturally for easier removal and to avoid damage to the model. For more details, please refer to: Work After Printing Finished on WIKI.
5. Similar to ASA, odors may be released during printing. Make sure your printer is placed in a well-ventilated area and use enclosed printers.
